I have almost 20 years’ Non-Executive experience on Boards across the NHS. These senior leadership roles included chair of NHS East Midlands, vice chair responsible for one quarter of the NHS (NHS Midlands and East), chair of Health Education England East Midlands and chair of the transformation programme in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. I am currently Vice Chair and Senior Independent Director of one of the largest Community Trusts in the country – rated outstanding by the CQC. All these roles have enabled me to focus on developing the leadership and culture to deliver inclusive, person-centred, high performing organisations

Applying my experience
Whilst I continue to be approached for senior Non-Executive roles, my passion is to use my experience and insights to support others who are moving into leadership roles (often at a senior level) for the first time. I have already supported many clinicians stepping into wider leadership roles, often working with complexity and ambiguity, where collaborative, leadership is the key. I have also worked with people from across every sector facing new leadership challenges and am keen to provide coaching and mentoring support to help them successfully navigate the latest challenges in their world and achieve great results, for themselves and their organisations.
