Leadership and management development has the potential to transform individuals, teams and organisations. I have designed and delivered a range of programmes to improve people’s success in managing and leading others.

I have worked across all sectors with middle managers and senior leaders to raise their personal insight, explore preferences and styles, recognise their strengths, and harness these to build better relationships and high performing teams.

The need for personal resilience and wellbeing has never been more important, all my programmes begin with building confidence and exploring the motivation to make positive behaviour change. When we have explored and understood ourselves, we can develop confidence in an authentic leadership style that will enable improved performance in others. Understanding the fundamentals of motivation and focusing on person-centred, inclusive leadership, all my programmes offer leadership development for sustainable results.

Co-Founder of the Health Coaching Academy

My experiences of leadership and coaching across health and care lead me to create a new training organisation with my incredible colleague Lesley Thompson. The Health Coaching Academy was born out of a passion to transform the conversations in health and care; reducing the burden on frontline staff to fix and care for people, through equipping them with the tools to build confidence and motivation in others. Our training helps people build empowering partnerships, shift responsibility and ignite the motivation in others to have greater ownership and confidence to transform their own lives. The results are remarkable, creating a win:win – greater staff satisfaction, improved patient outcome

MY EXPERIENCE

I have co-designed and delivered leadership programmes to accelerate transformation across the NHS, Higher Education and Third sector. At the heart of our programmes is a coach-approach, empowering managers to step confidently into leadership roles, lightening their load and getting the best from others
